Ofgem’s Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) report for Q2 2018-19 was issued on Monday 3 December. For August to October 2018, 1,710 accreditations were made, bringing the total for the scheme up to 64,642 since its launch in April 2014. 1,276 of the new accreditations were air source heat pumps, with 164 ground source heat pumps, 109 solar thermal installations, and 91 biomass boilers installed. Q2 also saw 1,366 accreditations made to Registered Social Landlords, 95% of which were air source heat pumps. Over £347mn in payments have now been made, with accredited systems generating over 3,132GWh of renewable heat.
