Two companies are partnering up to deliver what they say is Europe’s “smartest home electric vehicle (EV) charger” to the UK.

Grid charging solutions company eMotorWerks and fleet EV charging manufacturer EO Charging announced on 7 November that eMotorWerks’ cloud-based JuiceNet platform will be integrated into the EO Mini Pro EV charger to deliver smart scheduling, solar-powered charging and demand-side response, all designed to lower EV operating costs. The EO Mini Pro will be available in the UK from early 2019 and will work on several types of home.

Charlie Jardine, founder and Chief Executive at EO Charging, said: “We are working to ensure that EO is at the forefront of the e-mobility revolution where EV drivers and consumers are playing a more active role in their energy generation and usage.”
