Feed-in tariff aggregation: get the best value for your power

The e-POWER auction provides a simple route to market for independent generators under the Renewable Obligation (RO), Feed-in tariff (FiT) and contracts for difference (CfD) schemes, whilst providing suppliers with an easy route to purchase renewable power.

The primary e-POWER auctions are held twice a year to coincide with the regular contracting rounds. The January auction is for generation over summer (April – September); July covers winter (October – March).

Our calculations show that the majority of electricty generators could be earning more for their renewables generation, as smaller volumes of power are generally harder to sell. To ensure you get the best price for your power, therefore, speak to Pixie Energy about consolidating exported power with that of other local generators, and registering it into the next e-POWER auction.
